Week One!

This week was busy, being the first full week of classes and all! So busy, that I am currently enjoying a nice, quiet weekend -- Inga and I went to the grocery store today and then I worked on some homework, and tomorrow we're going to do a bit of shopping in downtown Yokohama, I think.

Getting Settled

The last three days have been REALLY busy; I've been running all around Tokyo and Yokohama trying to get settled. Happily, I'm pretty sure I'm about done with that part. Now that I've got a phone and my room and a bank account and I'm all moved in, I can finally focus on school orientation and exploring my surrounding areas.

Yesterday and today were our first days of orientation. Inga and I are taking a really neat route to school -- you can see Tokyo Tower in the distance as we approach campus.
