I made it to Japan yesterday afternoon at around 2:00! The flight was really smooth, and nothing really happened that was terribly interesting, aside from the fact that I sat next to a couple from Norway (to whom I didn't really speak, but it was neat to hear Norwegian being spoken)! Getting through immigration and customs went really smoothly -- I was out of the airport by 2:40 and the hotel bus was right at the stop, so I was able to get straight to the hotel. :)
Right now I'm writing this from my hotel; I went to bed at 7:30 last night and as a result, I woke up naturally at 5:30 AM, but I'm feeling really well-rested so I don't really mind that much. I'm entertaining myself by watching early morning Japanese TV and talking to some people on Facebook and Skype. I have about three and a half hours before I'm due to meet up with Inga at the airport, so I think I'm going to get dressed and start packing back up fairly soon. Then it's off to Yokohama!
